Pennsylvania Barge Club is a 501C-3 charitable organization whose mission is to support the sport of rowing in and around Philadelphia’s Boathouse Row, which includes:
- We are stewards of the Pennsylvania Barge Club boathouse, located at #4 Kelly Drive in Philadelphia. The boathouse, which is a registered landmark by the National Park Service, was completed in 1869, and serves as an important historical reminder of the significance of rowing in the Philadelphia community.
- We provide facilities and space to several important rowing organizations, which are dedicated to promoting the sport of rowing in the Philadelphia community.
- We are dedicated to preserve the history of Philadelphia rowing, including the art, artifacts, writings and objects that comprise the contributions that rowing, and Pennsylvanis Barge, have made to the City of Philadelphia and its citizens.
